Addenbrooke’s Boat Club or ‘Addie’s BC’ is open to clinical medics who are missing the Cam and want to continue rowing alongside the demands of regional placements and the clinical course in general. We aim for good vibes with fun weekend outings. With no set crews the club is open to any rowers who may have noviced in pre-clinical or elsewhere. Unfortunately, we are currently not able to train up novices.
Beyond weekend outings we have regular socials where you can meet medics across the year and get your fix of rowing chat – occasionally we have been caught at the pub instead of an outing.
We have often travelled to Oxford for a Medic’s Boat Race, we hope to continue these friendly races in the future.
